Visible at the world`s biggest maritime trade fair

GLAVA® had a visible presence at SMM in Hamburg - the biggest event of the year for the global maritime industry.

Lars Fillip Kolbu, Head of Marketing for Technical Insulation and Marine/Offshore is very pleased with the attention that GLAVA® Marine/Offshore received under its joint umbrella with Saint Gobain. A number of other Norwegian representatives were also present on the Saint-Gobain Marin Application stand, representing firms such as Weber, Brødrene Dahl, and Optimera.

It was expected that between 50,000 and 60,000 people would visit the trade fair during the course of the week. As many as 50 nations were represented, and the maritime trade fair is undoubtedly the biggest event to take place in Hamburg.

'There are a lot of people and it can easily become chaotic. But it is also an enormously important meeting place for those of us in industry. It is also interesting to observe the Norwegian presence is very noticeable, even in such a large and international market,' Lars Fillip reported back from Hamburg.
